What types of vehicles can benefit from using the FuelMAX?
IRD expects 30 million vehicles to be using the FuelMAX by the year 2006. FuelMAX can be used on any combustion engine vehicle, either gas or diesel driven.. The FuelMAX is recommended for fuel lines up to 16 mm in diameter. The SuperMAX, a larger version of the FuelMAX, is recommended for fuel lines over 16 mm to 2.54 cm. in diameter. What does the FuelMAX do?
The FuelMAX is a magnetic frequency resonator. By way of its patented Neodymium super conductors it generates the specific resonance frequency that, when installed over the fuel line, will fracture the hydrocarbon chains in the passing fuel. When fuel molecules get exposure to the specific resonance created by the Neodymium in the FuelMAX, combustion becomes more efficient. The result is lower pollutants and piston friction reduction, thereby increasing fuel efficiency. No magnet, no matter how large, can produce the required flux pattern, and yet be small enough in size to fit virtually all installations. Practically speaking, customers report two to four extra miles per gallon on autos and one extra mile on heavy diesel trucks. In addition to saving money of fuel, FuelMAX customers get smoother running engines and quicker starts. (See illustration below.)

How does fracturing the hydrocarbon chain effect fuel efficiency?
Simply put, the combustion becomes more efficient! The resonation that's created fractures the hydrocarbon chains in the passing fuel allowing it to mix with oxygen more readily and burn more efficiently. The superconductors that create the resonations are made of a patented formula of Neodymium blend and are covered by worldwide patents held by General Motors Corp. and by IRD.

What is a hydrocarbon?
It is the hydrogen and carbon content of the fuel.

What are hydrocarbon chains?
Hydrocarbon molecules that cluster and grow causing molecules to be trapped from air during the combustion.

Will it work on fuels other than petrol?
Yes, it will work on petrol, diesel, but the percentage of improvement differs because diesel is already a more effective fuel.

What octane will it work on?
All octane levels. Next higher octane performance can be achieved on lower octane fuel.

Why can't the oil companies provide this?
Because the fracturing of hydrocarbon chains occurs only when the fuel is passed through the FuelMAX. When the engine is turned off the fracturing of hydrocarbon chains stops and in a matter of hours the condition of the fuel returns to the more congested state. The phenomena of fracturing the hydrocarbon chains only can be induced by the FuelMAX.

Is installation easy?
You bet! It couldn't be simpler. The FuelMAX unit just snaps onto the fuel line. Simply slip the FuelMAX over the fuel line as close to the injection system as possible and press together. No tools required.

What kind of fuel line can it be installed on?
All types of lines -- metal, plastic or rubber, but optimum results are achieved on metal line, so if the fuel line is a combination of metal and rubber, then install it on the metal section.

Will it work on fuel injection?
Yes, place FuelMAX as close to the injection system as possible.

Will it work on fuels other than petrol?
Yes, it will work on petrol, diesel, but the percentage of improvement differ from one type to the other.

What fuel does it work best on?
Gasoline - All octane levels.

What fuel does it work on least?
Natural gas. (Due to it's preexisting efficiency.)

How soon will the FuelMAX pay for itself?
This is directly proportional to the amount of driving you do and the price you pay for fuel. Users have reported that the FuelMAX was paid back between 60 and 90 days.

Do my customers get a guarantee?
YES! All MAX Products Carry an Unconditional Customer Guarantee. International Research & Development will make a full refund directly to any consumer who is not completely satisfied with the result of any IRD product within (3) months from the date of purchase (Proof of retail purchase and returned unit are required.)

International Research & Development will replace any faulty IRD product, or unit that is believed to have lost strength, or to be considered defective in any way. The unit should be returned to the store where it was purchased. The manufacturer will immediately replace or repair the original unit and return it directly to the consumer or dealer without charge.
