U.S.
Department of Energy Report confirms: "These technologies can be
used as a replacement for most water-softening equipment.
Specifically, chemical softening (lime or lime-soda softening), ion
exchange, and reverse osmosis (RO), when used for the control of
hardness, can be replaced by the non-chemical water conditioning
technology. Scale in water systems can cause up to a 40% increase in
energy consumption, as a function of 1\4 inch thickness of scale
buildup.”

"Since
fitting the PowerMAX, three months ago, the results have been
more than pleasing. The guests have even remarked that the water
is now pleasant to drink and has lost it's yellow/brown haze. It
is softer and does not cause staining. |
The first
thing I noticed," said Leeann, "was the softness of my hair. The
difference was amazing."
- Gateway Holiday Park, - Richard and
Leeann O'Neill, Martinborough
"….it is
lovely. It's so clean and the soap now lathers up, and it's so much
softer too, it's excellent. My garden has thrived also. I would
wholeheartedly recommend the PowerMAX to anyone!"
- Colin Folely, Skinner Road, Stratford

"The difference was amazing! The first thing I noticed was the
soft, silky water. The soap powder dissolved a lot quicker also
and I had to use less. The towels were no longer as hard as
boards, but now soft and fluffy. |
The lime scale chunks that used to pour from the
kettle had almost disappeared and the coffee mugs no longer had
sediment in the bottom. The bath had lost it's ugly brown ring and
my hands were softer. I still can't believe that the PowerMAX can do
all this - it just doesn't seem right,"
- Mrs Phyllis Campbell, Wanganui
